for everyone
A friend of mine recently completed the construction of his experimental aircraft, and called me up to go flying this morning.

We flew to Wisconsin for breakfast and spent more time inverted or sideways than we did flying level. Unfortunately I did not get pictures of the 2 best situations; namely descending 6000 feet/minutes coming out of a hammerhead with another of our friends Cessna below us, or our 210 mph / 50 feet altitude run over some cornfields, and telephone poles. Maybe next time.

We took it a little easier on the way back, and I got the opportunity to fly and learn some basic tricks myself.

Oh, this is comforting...

Great pictures, though!

This is the second one he's built that I have flown in, I figured if the first one managed not to fall out of the sky I was pretty safe with the second one as well?

Well, as long as he didn't go to the John Denver School of Aircraft Construction, you should be safe.

OK, that was tasteless, I know, but I couldn't help it...

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing them. Sounds like you had quite the fun Sunday buzzing cornfields and doing stunts...very cool.

So, I guess your seat didn't become a flotation device?....lol

Definitely not for those w/ fear of flying...unless of course you wanted to overcome your fear by flying inverted...or stalling your plane and dropping just for the fun of it. :)

Oh yes, hammerheads are the best; nothing like pointing your face at the heavens until your plane stalls, and then dropping it into a 4G dive.

For a brief second there you are vertical and motionless with nothing but blue skies in front of your eyes.

You LOVE giving your wife heart failure, don't you. Don't forget, you have 2 beautiful children at home. They want you around for awhile. Next time maybe you could spend most of the time flying in an upright position.

I was going to ask what Ashley thought of this, but scrolled down and read it for myself. You like to live on the edge, don't you?

Looks like you had a heart-stopping good time...better you than me, I would have tossed my cookies with each and every manuever!

I'd rather fly a plane built by a person I trusted than to a plane certified by Federales Against Aviators.

Wicked pictures, ratel. Keep em coming...

Man, you're going to be lucky to be in an upright position when you get home...
